The History of Horseshoe

Horseshoe traces its roots to ancient Greece, where soldiers modified the game of discus throwing by using discarded horseshoes.  Over time, the game evolved, gaining popularity in England and eventually in North America.  By the early 20th century, it had become a well-organized competitive sport with standardized rules.

What Is Cornhole?

Cornhole is a lawn game where players take turns tossing bean bags at a raised wooden board with a hole near the top.  Points are awarded when a bag lands on the board or goes through the hole.  It’s a simple yet engaging game that people of all ages can enjoy.

The History of Cornhole

The origins of cornhole are debated, but it is believed to have been played in some form in Germany in the 14th century before being introduced in the United States.  The modern version of the game gained popularity in the Midwest, particularly in Ohio and Kentucky, and has since become a staple at community events and social gatherings.
